This book has all the same things to it which made me like Inkheart before.

If you haven’t read Inkheart don’t read this.
Disclaimer: there are going to be spoilers for Inkheart in this recommendation since it follows on from t he same story. Onto the second book in the Inkheart trilogy (as I recommended Inkheart last week)… Inkspell by Cornelia Funke (published in 2005).
